At Vitae SOS we take care of your data. This policy explains how we process it, in accordance with Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 (RGPD) (the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) (the Spanish Data Protection and Digital Rights Act).

2. What data we process

  • Contact and delivery data: name, address, email and phone number.
  • Order data: products purchased, amount and delivery status.
  • Payment data: these are handled directly by the payment gateway; we do not see or store your full card number.
  • Browsing data: information about your device and how you use the website, through cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Communications: whatever you tell us when you write to us.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

  • Managing your order (delivery, returns, guarantee and customer service): performance of the purchase contract.
  • Complying with legal obligations (invoicing, accounting, taxes): legal obligation.
  • Answering your questions: your consent when you write to us.
  • Sending you news or offers: only if you expressly agree. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analytics and advertising through cookies: only with your consent.
  • Preventing fraud and keeping the shop secure: legitimate interest.

4. How long we keep it

Order data is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by law (for example, 6 years for accounting and tax records). Data used on the basis of your consent is kept until you withdraw it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with the providers needed to deliver the service, who act as data processors:

  • Shopify (shop and payment platform).
  • Transport and logistics companies, to deliver your order.
  • Payment providers, to process payment for your purchase.
  • Analytics and advertising tools, only if you accept their cookies.
  • Public authorities, when required by law.

Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States or Canada). In such cases, the transfer is protected by the safeguards provided for in the RGPD (GDPR), such as adequacy decisions of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, as well as withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to saokorentacar@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, the Spanish Data Protection Agency) (www.aepd.es).

7. Minors

This shop is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and the shop runs over an encrypted connection.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will publish the current version here, together with the date it was last updated.
